MOVING AWAY FROM HOME

You've left that comfort,
Of you own little home.
Now you are flying free,
Discovering things alone.

You are now independant,
You start to feel more brave.
Standing on your own two feet,
The whole world you could save.

You still like calling back home,
But only once in a little while.
To catch up with all the gossip,
Hearing their voices brings a smile.

You might feel a little homesick,
And sometimes a little blue.
But it never lasts for too long,
You will always see it through.

It may seem a little scary at first,
You sometimes miss their faces.
A whole new world at your feet,
You're discovering brand new places.
